To start off your face will be gently exfoliated to remove any makeup, dirt and excess oil. The vellous hair will then be gently removed from the face using a specific medical device designed to gently remove the hair. This will then prepare your skin ready for the Microneedling treatment allowing the rejuvenating serums to be absorbed and the repair process to work efficiently.
Microneedling is carried out using a Dr Pen device which penetrates a tightening or hydrating serum (serum will depend on your facial requirement) in to the skin. By breaking the skin barrier this will kick start the skin repair process enabling collagen production to be stimulated and skin to appear glowing. Optimal results are at day 14.
This treatment is perfect treatment for anyone who wishes to improve their skin texture or quality. Please do not book if you have severe active acne or have taken Roaccutane in the last 6 months (any small acne patches will be avoided). Ideal for acne scars, melasma, dry dull skin and pigmentation.
